Following the success and the learnings from Miami’s Magic City Innovation District and Wynwood Arts District, Future of Cities’ has embarked on its next project in Jacksonville, Florida, with a particular focus on the Phoenix Arts + Innovation District, a neighborhood with a diverse and longstanding population and generations of both economic and artistic history.
Future of Cities’ Vision
Future of Cities’ vision for utilizing blockchain technology (also referred to as “web3”) in Jacksonville is to improve social, ecological, and economical outcomes while mitigating gentrification that could displace the existing community. We believe that as Future of Cities supports and drives investment into the Phoenix Arts + Innovation District, we can leverage web3 to better equip residents with the resources needed to remain resilient in the face of upward economic pressure.
